The National ICRC/IHL Moot Competition at the ICRC Nairobi Delegation was held on October 6-7. Kenyatta University was represented by Nancy Katunge, Christopher Rosana, Anne Wanjiku, Beatrice Wanjiku, Faith Pepela and Janet Njambi. Christopher Rosana was awarded the best oralist award. Kenyatta University won the competition taking the top two slots in the competition. The two teams will represent the country in the upcoming All Africa IHL Competition in Arusha on 12-19 November 2016.

The KUSOL Public Interest and Awareness Programme is largely run by fourth year law students under the guidance of a lecturer. The aim of the programme is to respond to legal needs affecting the indigent in the rural and urban poor areas of Kenya.This year, approximately 47 students participated in the programme and were divided into four groups of around 10 students per group. KUSOL hosted Mr. James Kamau, the managing partner of the renowned IKM and Ms Amrit Soar who is a partner at the law firm, for a career and mentorship talk at the school grounds on the Wednesday of 26th of March 2015.
