The Africa Regional Rounds of the 19thEdition of the John H Jackson Moot Court Competition, colloquially referred to as the World Trade Organization Moot Competition, were held on 23-28th March 2021.

The African Regional Rounds brought on board participants from nine (9) African Universities. Kenyatta University School of Law was represented by a team of two students in 4th Year: Muchina J Ngéthe and Rispah Khamala Odanga. The students performed exceptionally well and exuded expertise in oral submissions, research and mastery of the subject matter.

Muchina J Ngéthe emerged the best oralist in the preliminary rounds, semi-finals and final rounds. Overall, the Kenyatta University team finished second in Africa after the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa team. The Kenyatta University team will proceed to the Global rounds in Geneva, Switzerland in June 2021.
