We congratulate Sidney Tambasi Netya and Martin Kioko Munyoto, for representing Kenyatta University in the 12th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition and making it to the finals scheduled for 10th December 2020.
They beat Oxford University, United Kingdom in the semi finals to qualify for this year's finals.

Following the COVID-19 developments, the AKMCC Committee has reached a decision to suspend all its preparatory activities.
 
Effectively, the event has now been postponed until a further date to be communicated in due course. Please remove the dates on the website and indicate postponed until further notice.
 
We thank you for your continued support and cooperation. We trust that the current affairs will subsidize soon and look forward to having the event real soon.

group-smallAll Africa International Humanitarian Law Competition , Arusha

In the recently concluded All Africa International Humanitarian Law Competition in Arusha, Tanzania, the school came in third out of over fifteen teams. The best oralist of the competition was Nancy Kisangau. The teams represented countries from all over Africa but specifically Anglophone countries. In the week long competition and training, the school also got an honourable mention for its resilience and tact. The students representing the school were, Christopher Rosana, Faith Pepela, Nancy Kisangau, Beatrice Wanjiku, Anne Njoroge, and Janet Njambi. The competition took place at the African Court of Human and Peoples' Rights .


legalAiDLegal Aid Awareness

The KUSOL Public Interest and Awareness Programme is largely run by fourth year law students under the guidance of a lecturer. The aim of the programme is to respond to legal needs affecting the indigent in the rural and urban poor areas of Kenya.This year, approximately 47 students participated in the programme and were divided into four groups of around 10 students per group.
