Justification/ Rationale |
The programme is important in understanding linkages and connections between nations, regional and global entities which are key in promoting peace among nations. Peaceful relations between countries promote trade, financial tractions, information flow and sharing of infrastructure as well as ideas which promote human existence. The intention is of the Programme is to promote and harmonize synergies and good practices that will enable create knowledge and abide by ethical and moral obligations of states, and sub regional bodies. This requires a proper understanding of International Relations, issues and evolution of theory and practice of diplomacy, comparative approaches to diplomacy, international political economy, global conflict analysis, international security systems, gender issues in security among others that enable graduates to deal with the challenges and opportunities that may arise in the field of international relations and diplomacy.

Entry Requirements |
Minimum entry requirements are holders of Master of Arts (International Relations and Diplomacy or Political Science) degree or any related discipline from a recognized Kenyatta University by Senate.
