- KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) or equivalent.
- A relevant Diploma from a recognised institution with a credit or distinction.
- Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) with two principal passes and one subsidiary.
- Any other qualification approved by Kenyatta University Senate.
