Admissions Requirements
To enroll in the Bachelor of Arts in Film and Theatre program, applicants must meet any of the following qualifications:
- Candidates must satisfy the minimum University entry requirements for Undergraduate Degree
- Courses at Kenyatta University. Candidates must also satisfy the minimum requirements for
- Undergraduate Degree Courses in the School of Creative and Performing Arts, Film and Media
- Applicants must also satisfy one of the following departmental requirements for
- admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Film and Theatre Studies:
- KCSE certificate with a mean grade of C+ or its equivalent.
- Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field from a recognised post-secondary institution. KCSE
- certificate with a minimum C plain or equivalent; KCE Division II or equivalent; or EACE
- Division II or equivalent. These candidates MUST ALSO have a Diploma or its equivalent in a relevant field from a recognised post-secondary institution.
- Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) certificate with a minimum of two (2) principal passes and one subsidiary pass, and a minimum of a credit pass in English or Kiswahili at the KACE level.
- A degree in a relevant field from a recognised University or its equivalent.
