Bachelor Of Arts (Psychology)

Requirements
i.    Mean grade C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C (plain) in English and Mathematics, or
ii.    Mean grade of C (plain) with a diploma (passed with credit) in any field of study from a recognized institution of higher learning or
iii.    Mean grade of C- (minus) at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

Mode of Assessment
For each unit offered there will be Final Examination (70%) and Continuous Assessment (30%). The final grading will be as follows: A = 70% and above; B = 60-69; C = 50-59; D = 40-49; Fail =
0 – 39.

Compulsory Units
University Common Units as guided by the school. Students taking BA general will take three units in first year, four units in second year, and four, six, eight or twelve units in third and fourth year depending on the degree pattern that they choose. Students taking BA psychology will be expected to take all the units in the four years of study. Research Project (equivalent to 2
Units) will be done in two semesters to give students adequate time to complete their projects.
